Love is in the air for the Durrells, Louisa attempts to focus on her but a visit, however, from the effervescent Aunt Hermione changes her perspective and she finds herself increasingly drawn to someone out of reach. Leslie now has 3 girl friends only for him to face the consequence of his actions. Gerry too experiences a growing attraction to the opposite sex yet his love of animals remains his main focus. Margo falls back in love with the self-assured Turk, Zoltan. Larry is still obsessed with sex, and delighted when a visit to London introduces him to like minded people such as the naked but ever charming Henry Miller.
