The brand new complete Foyle's War boxed set is available exclusively from Acorn Media UK until a general release later in the year. The box set contains every episode ever made of this popular ITV detective drama in a special 22 DVD release. This is the ultimate collection for any fan of Foyles War.

Foyles War stars Michael Kitchen as the thoughtful and enigmatic Detective Chief Superintendent Foyle and Honeysuckle Weeks as Samantha Stewart, Foyles loyal driver. The setting for this detective drama is during World War 2 as England is in the grip of the War and Foyle, anxious to join the war effort, has repeatedly had his applications turned down. He returns to the South Coast sidelined and frustrated, but it soon becomes apparent that his detective skills are vitally needed on the Home Front.

The series garnered much acclaim from both critics and audiences and quickly became one of the most popular dramas on British television as well as being nominated for a BAFTA in 2003 for best drama series.

Talks are ongoing between the producers and ITV as to the possibility of Foyles War returning to the screen even though the final episodes took the series beyond the end of the war.

As Honeysuckle Weeks recently told the Portsmouth News there are many considerations to take into account before a return of Foyles War would be possible  'I'm in close contact with the producers and the writer and if the opportunity arose to make a one-off or a series I'd be delighted to do it. But I feel that because the war has ended it's harder to get the characters in the same boat again – and it's better to leave a show when it's still quality, not flogging a dead horse.'

As well as all the episodes this DVD includes an exclusive interview with Foyle’s War writer and creator Anthony Horowitz, an exclusive interview with Honeysuckle Weeks and Anthony Howell, three behind-the-scenes documentaries, production notes, picture galleries and cast filmographies and biographies.

Unless a news series is announced this is the complete Foyles War package and is available for a special price of £99.99, that's a saving of £50!
