Celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal, owner of one of the world’s finest restaurants, is famous for his unique approach to food, and his experimental cooking style sets him apart from the other cooking personalities. To coincide with the second series of his hit show on Channel 4, Acorn Media are pleased to announce that the first series of Heston’s Feast will be coming to DVD later this month.

In this remarkable series, Blumenthal searches through age-old recipes, and challenges himself to recreate them as delightful modern-day dishes.

Each episode sees Heston invite six celebrity guests for an unforgettable feast, and a dinner party that is miles away from the norm. Blumenthal creates exhilarating dining adventures all throughout this incredible series, and pushes the boundaries to take cooking to a whole new level.

Just some of the highlights of Heston’s Feast include; recreating the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland; baking four and twenty blackbirds inside a pie; a mythical beast of part lamb, part goose, part hog and part chicken; stimulates his guests with ejaculating cakes; and an entirely edible scene based on the Christmas carol Good King Wenceslas.

This two-disc set comes with over 250 minutes of footage, as well as a bonus Heston Blumenthal autobiography feature. Priced at £19.99, Heston’s Feast is available EXCLUSIVELY from Acorn Media until 12th April.
