Michelle Keegan, who is known for her role as Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, is currently filming the second series of Our Girl in Africa. The show, which returns later this year on BBC1, sees the popular young actress playing Corporal Georgie Lane who is posted to Kenya. In preparation for the physically-demanding role, Keegan worked with military professionals and spent four days at an army barracks in Aldershot taking part in medical and combat training.
